Siena, San Gimignano, & Lucca

Whether it's being pensive, resting, or enjoying music on the the voyage between cities, the students here at the Firenze program this summer continue to amaze me. As a public school Art Teacher of twelve years, I have never seen a group of students bond so well, so instantly! I am continually impressed by their positive spirits, openness to a new culture and language, and their constant energy.

Our excursions to San Gimignano, (a medieval jewel- city of towers), Siena, (glorious home of the Palio, pageantry and history), and Lucca, (a city famous for it's intact Renaissance era walls) were fantastic!

Un abbraccio,
Aniko
